C | ”哈利伯顿在视频里说道。         事实上，过去多年一直有中国球迷呼吁印第安纳步行者队改名，因为他们的中文译名显然存在问题。球队的英文名字是Pacers，这个词最初来源于溜马比赛（一种马拉着两轮车竞速的比赛）。

D | 在比赛中，有Pacer（顺拐）和Trotter（快步）两种马步，他们的跑姿不同。由于Pacers在上世纪60年代建立球队时，主场就在跑马地街对面，而溜马比赛是当时最火爆的比赛之一，所以成为邻居的这支NBA球队就给自己取名Pacers。         与此同时，印城当地颇负盛名的Indy500赛车比赛也和Pacers的名字有渊源，因为印地赛车在起跑圈中会安排一辆领航车（Pace Car），为后面的参赛赛车设置一个初始的起步速度。但根据印第安纳资深记者马克·蒙提斯的讲述，Pacers这个名字最初还是从溜马比赛得来的。         今年，在ChinaPacers.com组织的中国球迷聚会上，Pacers篮球事务执行副总裁兼副总经理胡忠健就表示：“我们队在场上的风格就是马不停蹄节奏，这本身就是我们队DNA的一部分。另外呢，我们要打造的是一支冠军之师，'步行'和‘不行’之类的，都不是我们字典里的词汇。”          在球队官方发布的视频下，已经有不少球迷给出了自己的建议，很多人提议改叫“溜马”，也有人提到“先驱者”、“领航者”。
